If we were to tell you that Christina Aguilera’s new album was named after (in her words) “an unbreakable flower that survives under the harshest conditions and still thrives,” would you be able to guess which flower it was? The answer should be obvious to old Magic: The Gathering enthusiasts: The Lotus. Xtina went on a Tweet spree today laying out her new album title, as well as some surrounding details for the LP and its lead single, “Your Body”:
.@aleronihead Album title: Lotus. Representing an unbreakable flower that survives under the hardest conditions and still thrives. #YourBody

.@lfred0 conceptually I didn’t target one particular sound/genre. I made that felt good. #YourBody

.@breathextina right now I’m really into M83 and enjoying some Frank Ocean. #YourBody

Thank you so much for today! Album comes out in November. #YourBody out Friday! Love you all! XoXtina

Christina also did her fans the service of revealing the cover art for her presumably M83-and-Frank-Ocean-influenced lead single “Your Body”:
Looks gauzy. Are you guys looking forward to Christina rocking #YourRespectiveBodies this November?
