When Beyoncé makes musical recommendations, they don’t come in the form of simple fangirl tweets or Facebook posts or Spotify playlists or anything so frivolous. Rather, they come in the form of pronouncements from up on high, with some commoner hushing the internet before she makes them, warning everyone “THE Queen IS ABOUT TO SPEAK!” Then, Bey emerges from her pop music throne, steps towards the crowd of cyberpeasants, and issues her decree:



So yes, it appears the Queen approvse of her King’s latest protegé—and Rita herself has returned the favor, tweeting at Beyoncé:




We’re glad that it’s all love over at the Roc Nation compound. “Shine Ya Light,” though? We’d be more into “Love and War” and “Hello, Hi, Goodbye.” (And why is that awesome “Facemelt” intro so short? Most frustrating fadeout since Rihanna’s original “Birthday Cake.” Must be waiting for a Chris Brown remix.)
