There’s more drama from the X Factor set, and it’s arrived in easily digestible promo-sized chunks!
The latest tidbit from the judges table: Simon Cowell wants Demi Lovato to stay away from One Direction’s Niall Horan (the two were spotted together after the VMAs), because she will apparently corrupt him or something? Then he grills her about kissing him, because beneath his steely exterior Simon Cowell is a pearl-clutching gossip.
Leaving aside that this is a weird conversation for a 52-year-old man to be having with his 20-year-old coworker, why is Simon so worried about Demi Lovato? The girl had an eating disorder, that doesn’t make her some Victorian temptress. And what is all that “pure” talk about? If we’ve learned anything in the past 10 years, it’s that virginity pledges for pop stars are a Bad Idea.
Regardless, this is all a moot point, because sources in the school cafeteria say that Demi is not dating Niall.
